
Born May 25, 1934 in Shanghai and passed away on April 14, 2005 at home in
Seattle. He is survived by his mother King-Lay Woo, all four of his younger
siblings, his wife of 43 years, Kui-Mi Lo; their children AlexNova,
GrantBeijun, RenaArmando; and 5 Grandchildren. Perry courageously sought
freedom for himself and those around him. He endured foreign occupation and
later escaped communist rule in China by smuggling into British Hong Kong,
joining his father there. He educated himself in construction engineering
and worked at the Paul Y. Construction Co. An opportunity took him to Sabah,
Malaysia in 1958 where he worked for the China Construction Co. and later
the Sabah Public Works Dept. He married and had three children at the foot
of Mt. Kinabalu. Seeking better schooling for his children, the family was
uprooted to H.K. Joining forces with his father and brothers, Wong & Sons
Construction prospered. With the imminent return of H.K. to China, the
family was uprooted again, this time landing in Seattle in 1977. Perry
worked at Atlas, DelGuzzi, and the Jack A. Benaroya Co. before starting
SeaPac Construction. He retired from SeaPac but remained active until his
passing. Memorial Service will be held Friday April 22, 10AM at
Evergreen-Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle. Reception and lunch to
