Pete graduated from Ballard High School in 1958. He served as a LCpl in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959-1963, stationed at Camp Pendleton. He moved his family back to Seattle and started his lifelong career as a floorlayer. He was a member of the Floorcovering Assoc. Union, Local 1238 and owned Scandia Installations. He also owned the 7th Avenue Tavern in Ballard during the '80s. Pete was a faithful patron of Daverthumps Pub for many years.
Pete is survived by his son Curt and wife Heather, grandchildren Jacob and Nicole; life-partner Arliss Garris; brother Ken and wife Angela, nephews Andrew and Chris. Preceded in death by son Craig, and his parents Russell and Maxine.
