Ramon spent most of his adult life in the western Washington area. He is
survived by his wife of 50 years, Eleanor Mendez; three sons: Ray, Tom and Ben; daughter Ramona; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several honorary children and grandchildren. He attended Riddle High School in Oregon where he won All-State honors two times as a running back on the football team where he played with no face mask. He also raced
Figure Eight stock cars for several years at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe. Ramon was well liked through his circle of friends, constantly waving at
people as he drove down the street; it seemed he knew everyone. However, as his kids we don?t know all his friends so we were unable to reach them for his service.
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me,
O LORD God of truth.
