Richard W. SODERQUIST 1915 ~ 2007 Born and raised in Seattle, attended Lincoln High School, graduated from the U of W in 1937 passed away Dec. 13. Dick served with the 3rd Infantry US Army in WWII, awarded the Silver & Bronze Stars for bravery during the North African and Italian campaigns, awarded the Purple Heart for wounds sustained in Sicily. Enjoyed a long career in International Banking with Sea-First. Known to family and friends as Dick and as the face of Dexter Horton in Seattle First National Bank's advertising campaign during 1970s. Dick is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doreen, 2 daughters, Sharon Perkins of Bellevue and Rodeen Peterson of Woodinville, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dick will be remembered as a loving father, devoted husband and loyal, humble friend. He will long be remembered for his integrity, character and untiring service to others. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., December 20 at Evergreen Washelli Chapel in Seattle.
