He was born November 25th, 1932 in Monroe, IA and grew up near Kellogg, IA. After graduating from high school he served in the US Air Force then returned to Iowa where he farmed for several years. In 1969 he moved with his family to Seattle and began a career at Boeing that lasted more that 25 years. He retired to Port Hadlock in 1993 where he volunteered his time and skills with the Boeing Bluebills and Habitat for Humanity. He loved woodworking, kite flying, animals and gardening.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Janice Morris of Seattle; a granddaughter, Caitlin; a brother Marvin (Sally); and sisters Marilyn (Al); Marcia (Dean); and Marvel (Russell); and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
