Bob passed away unexpectedly on July 8th 2014 at the age of 84. He was born on April 26th, 1930 in Fairfax, Minnesota, the firstborn child of Benedict and Margaret Schweiss. Bob joined the United States Air Force in 1951 and was honorably discharged in 1955. He relocated to Washington State, meeting the love of his life, Wilma Lorraine Whittaker, of whom he married June 26th, 1954. They had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Bob was employed by the Boeing Company for 36 years, retiring in 1992. After retirement, Bob's greatest pleasures were camping, fishing, gardening, participating in activities at the Renton Senior Center, woodworking and spending time with family. He was a member of the Improved Order of Redmen in Everett. Bob is survived by his beloved wife Wilma, daughters Robin (John) Nichols, Lucille Schweiss, sons Bob (Melanie) Schweiss, and Tom Schweiss, 5 grandsons and one great-granddaughter, as well as many extended family members and friends.
