

Roberta Jeanne Mulcahy passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2017, at the age of 63, in Seattle, Washington, surrounded by caring people and those she loved dearly. She was born on July 25th, 1953, to Junior & Madaline Mulcahy in Yakima, Washington; the fourth born of five girls.
Roberta graduated from A.C. Davis High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from Central Washington State College in Sociology. With a kind heart and deep concern for the others, it came as no surprise that she worked as a housekeeper for ten years at Swedish Hospital, The Seattle Center as an usher for many years, and finally, as a dining room attendant before retiring. In her spare time, Roberta enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved all things Irish.
Roberta is survived by her Mom, Marcella Mulcahy, sisters, Jerie Briggs (Mike), Renée Mulcahy, brother, Dave Delorme (Joy), Chris Ross (Burt), Janet Short (Ken), Debbie Johnson, Diane Southwick (Ty), Kathy Hoffert (Dave), Barbara Sullivan, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family of Roberta Jeanne Mulcahy wishes to thank the staff of Avamere Queen Anne Rehabilitation Center, and asks that any memorial donations may be made to their facility, in lieu of flowers.
