Roger Brooke Hammond, 51, of Bothell, WA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 7, 2016. He was born September 6, 1964 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Walter Laws Jr. and Katharine Lyle (Scholl) Hammond. Roger married Stacey B. Saunders on October 15, 1988 in Niceville, Florida. Roger lived in the Mill Creek area since 1989. He loved his family and anyone he came in contact with, and enjoyed: cooking on the grill, his pets, and spending time outdoors. He worked at Brotherton Cadillac for many years where he made many long-lasting friendships. Roger is survived by his wife Stacey of 27 years; two sons, Austin and Hunter Hammond; his mother, Katharine Lyle Hammond; brother, Walter Laws Hammond III; niece, Madison; nephews, Zach, Dylan, Connor, Joshua and Ryan; Mother and father-in-law, Arthur and Pauline Saunders; sister-in-laws, Erika Hammond, Ashley Lee, Jill Saunders, Gayann Stetler and brother- in-law, Art Saunders. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Hammond Jr. and brother, James (Jim) Hammond.
