Ruth Marie Black, 90, passed away on March 27, 2016 in Kenmore, WA. She was born October 24, 1925 in Wilbur, WA to Russell & Mable Black. Ruth enjoyed a career of over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel. Ruth was a true patriot and her career was one of her biggest accomplishments.
Ruth has been a long time resident of the Seattle area and in her spare time, she enjoyed reading mystery novels, and studying genealogy as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Ruth loved to travel the world, Ireland and England being her favorite places to go.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Evelyn Dennis. She will be forever missed by those she leaves behind including her dear friend Addis Boset of Renton, WA, and many other friends and relatives.
