Born October 17, 1914 in Livingston, Montana. Passed away March 3, 2001 at CRISTA in Shoreline, WA. Ruth served as a missionary in India for 10 years. She started a second career at CRISTA working as a supervisor in the laundry department for 35 years. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She leaves behind her children Dr. Philip Johnson Silvia, Karen Tripple, Roger Johnson, Mary Aspelund Arnie; grandchildren Scott, Christina, Sarah, Nathan, Rachel, and Aaron Jacob; brother Willard A. Swan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2001 at 1PM, Haller Lake Baptist Church 14054 Wallingford Ave N., Seattle. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
