Born July 30, 1941, leaped up to heaven on February 29, 2024.
She was a lifetime resident of Seattle, living in Ravenna, Ballard, and Richmond Beach.
Preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Ed Martinson, her husband, George Ross, and her eldest granddaughter, Dayna Jansen.
She is survived by four children: Mike (Diane) Garski, Mukilteo; Jodi (Forrest) Mundy, Powell, WY; Greg (Kathy) Garski, Salem, OR; and Pam Peterson (Brian Lange), Cle Elum; Six grandchildren: Danell, Marci, Melissa, Jessy, Nick, and Nicole; Ten great-grandchildren: Kylie, Kaden, Kolten, Brookelynn, Kennedy, Evan, Eva, Brayden, Brynlee, and Lincoln; sister, Colleen Smith; Cerritos, CA: nephew Chris Smith, Oceanside, CA;
Per her request, a private graveside service will be held. Family and friends are welcome to join at a reception at Evergreen-Washelli 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133 on March 23, 2024, between 3-5pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
