

Sicinio C Apigo Jr. (aka Tatay) died unexpectedly December 5, 2020 at Swedish Hospital on Cherry Hill. He was born in Luzon, Philippines on November 20, 1948. Tatay is the son of Sicinio V. Apigo Sr. and Rosario Calica. He grew up in the city of Manila working as part of his family's business packaging Elsie Coffee and selling their coffee to retail businesses.
Tatay graduated from the University of the East in the Philippines and majored in Commerce. Asa student at the University, he joined the Alpha Omega Fraternity. he migrated to the United States in 1969 after his Dad and older brother, Arthur Apigo. He married Elena Primitivo in 1972 at Sacred Heart Church Seattle in the chapel downstairs.
Sicinio C Apigo Jr. and Elena Apigo had 4 children. Their first child, Joanna Apigo, passed away a few days after her birth in 1973. In 1975, they had their second child, Ann Marie Apigo. They also had two other daughters: Rosalina Apigo and Daisy Apigo, their youngest child. Tatay worked as a pipe fitter/union shop steward at shipbuilding companies, including Lockheed Martin & Todd Shipyard for a combined 36 years. Sicinio C. Apigo Jr. is predeceased by his parents. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers Arthur Apigo and Cesar Apigo. He is survived by his wife Elena P. Apigo, their daughter Rosalina, Daisy and Ann Marie Apigo. Additionally, he is survived by his son-in-law Geoffrey Cabotage and 3 grandchildren Christian, Cruz and Chloe Cabotage.
Sicinio C. Aigo Jr. was a man who cared deeply for his family and ensured that they were well taken care of. He loved playing card games, chess with his grandson, and telling jokes to all his grandkids. He also enjoyed picking them up every day after school and secretly giving them cookies and candies as snacks. He will be missed by everyone, especially his wife, children, son-in-law and grandchildren. We will remember him as someone who was fiercely loyal, kind and loving. He took great care of everyone in his family, every day of his life. Tatay will truly be missed but his memories and spirit will live on through his family and friends.
