
Susan Potter Anderson, 70, of Woodinville, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2017. She was born June 10, 1947 in Seattle, WA, the daughter of the late James Clyde and Phyllis (Gordon) Potter. In 1969 Susan graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in History, and married Daniel T. Anderson later that year. Shortly thereafter she and Dan moved to Hawaii, where they spent the next seventeen years enjoying island life before moving back to the Seattle area to raise their young family. Finally settling in Woodinville, WA, Susan joined the Everett-based law firm, Bell & Ingram, and worked there for over twenty years as their Legal Administrator before joining Beresford Booth, LLC in Edmonds as their Law Firm Administrator. During her time at these firms she was an active and valued member of Washington State's Association of Legal Administrators (ALA). Susan was a kind and caring person with an insatiable desire for knowledge. She loved to travel, read and spend time with her family and friends. Susan is survived by her husband of 47 years; her daughter, Kimberly Warriah and husband Sandeep; her three sons, James Anderson, Michael Anderson and wife Jennifer West and David Anderson, and her three brothers, James, Steven and Robert Potter. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Potter. A private family memorial is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) or National Public Radio (NPR).
