They were called “The Reiter Girls.” Born in Fairmont, West Virginia, May 23, 1908, Theodora was the second of three children to Ida Mae Bohlen and Edward Reiter. She passed away peacefully in Seattle on 10/23/12 at the age of 104. Theodora was raised in the university town of Morgantown, West Virginia, and always considered herself a “mountaineer.” For over 30 years she worked for the Bureau of Internal Revenue in Washington DC, Los Angeles, CA, and Philadelphia, PA. She received many accolades and awards for her work. Theodora married William A. Clark Jr. from Wyoming, Pennsylvania, and had two children, Mary Patricia Piposzar and William A. Clark III. She leaves behind her two children, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Theodora lived through an incredible century. She got to see Lindberg barnstorming, lived through two world wars, and got to see an astronaut walk on the moon. Theodora never missed a thing. She enjoyed life to the utmost. She loved
hiking, traveling, and horseback riding when younger. Her last significant trip was to Spain at the age of 92. Believe it or not, she was called out for a pat-down inspection when going through security at Sea Tac. Theodora was an avid card player until
the day she passed away. She was well read, on top of current events, very articulate, and had the heart of an angel and the
strength and courage of a lion. We will all miss her. No public ceremony will be held. The family requests that any donations be made to your favorite charity.
