Vera Ethel Laura Smith, 91, passed away in Renton, Washington on May 29th, 2015. She was born in London, England on August 3rd, 1923 to Charles and Miriam Morgan. Vera served in the Land Army in England during World War 2 and was even given a medal for her efforts from the Queen of England. She met and married her first husband and moved to the U.S. where she worked for the Boeing company, manufacturing their Insulation Blankets. Vera was remarried after her first husband passed, but she ended up outliving them both. She will be forever loved and remembered by those she leaves behind, including her son Rick, daughter Sharon, step son Boyd, and step Daughter Carol, 6 grandchildren, and many other friends and relatives. Vera will always be remembered as a kind, loving woman who will be dearly missed.
