

Vincent Oscar Larson, 85 years old went to be with his savior, the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday morning October 8, 2018.Vincent was born on January 8, 1933, in McVille, North Dakota to Jessie Clauson and Ole Larson. At 21 years old he enlisted to serve in the Korean War with the Marine Corp of Engineers and was honorably discharged.
Vincent was first married to June and was stepfather to Steve, Bob, and David VanderLinden. He accepted Jesus as his savior in June of 1968.
Vincent was a skilled hard worker and man of many talents with multiple skills in construction and electrical and he often told family stories of his time as a deckhand on tugboats.
Vincent often declared he married the love of his life Soveig Lonseth Larson on October 20, 1996. They both shared a love of missions and Jesus and they married in Nepal while on mission trip he arranged. They then returned for a family and friends reception in Washington state where they lived and were involved in the Crossroad Church in Lynnwood. Vincent lived and worked tirelessly at Cedar Spring Camp where he served on the board for more than a decade.
In his later years, he enjoyed traveling to Arizona and served orphans in Mexico with a church. Vincent wore a smile that lit up his face and he knew just how to make people feel at ease. He was always ready to serve others, daily giving of himself in simple in and significant ways, and often the adventurous type.
Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Severin, Jerry, and Naomi; wives June, Darlene and Solveig. He was surrounded by friends in passing, and is survived by numerous nephews and nieces on both the Larson and Lonseth sides of his family.
A celebration of Life Service will be held on October 22, 2018 at 11am at Cedar Spring Camp in Lake Stevens, WA. He will be buried alongside Solveig at Evergreen Washelli, Aurora Cemetery.
