

Warren Masashi Sakai, 81, passed away unexpectedly on February 26th, 2024, in Renton, Washington. He was born on March 19th, 1942 in Seattle, Washington, and has been a long time resident of the area.
Warren is survived by: his wife, Carolyn Sakai of 55 years, one son and one daughter-in-law and two granddaughters, Christopher and Thuy Sakai and their daughters Danielle and Madison of Renton, WA and one daughter and one son-in-law and a granddaughter and a grandson, Jill and Ray Olson and Jill’s daughter and son Tiffany and Dylan Yango of Renton, WA.
Warren’s favorite pastime was anything to do with golf. He could be found playing golf during the week and on the weekends with his friends and family. He loved to frequent many of the courses here in Washington. His favorite times on the golf course were spent sharing a friendly competition with his son, nephews and nieces. His love for golf expanded far beyond a hobby. He used golf to build relationships in his work for the Westin Hotels for over 20 years and later turned golf into his full-time job as the Purchasing Director of golf hard goods at Oki Golf.
Warren will always be remembered for his love of golf, basketball and most importantly his love for his family. Warren was not the most outspoken person when it came to his feelings, but the love he had for his wife, children and grandchildren could be felt from anyone that truly knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133 on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:00AM.
