Wayne, my brother and other friends spent many a day together as young boys at Coe and McClure and then as young men at QA high school, I have recently moved back to QA from Alaska after 30 years and was saddened to read the news of his passing.  He had such the joyous laugh and smile and I sure will be missed, my thoughts are with you all, peace

What would you do if your friend died 
tomorrow and you never got to tell him how you felt? So, I just wanted to say, even thow I"ll never talk 
to you again in my life, you were special 
to me and you have made a difference in 
my life.
I looked up to you, respected you, and truly cherish your friendship. 

Dear JoAnna & family,
Although I do know the loss of a child, I cannot imagine the loss of my best friend, my husband. Dave has alwsys spoken so very highly of all of you, that it made me feel like I've known you all along. When he told me the story about how he came into your lives, it really didn't surprise me, as he did the same for me when I had suffered a great loss. Dave held the highest regard for you both. He always felt that you two were a match made in Heaven, after all JoAnna how many wives would help their husband with a racecar! I am so honored that I finally got to meet the man behind the "little red Alpine", who "has the coolest wife ever!" I truly am honored to have met you all. Our thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. We are here for you JoAnna, whenever.

JoAnna & family.  May peace be with you as it surely is with Wayne.  One of the nicest people in the world.  I bowled with Wayne the last few years and had some really fun times and conversations.  We would always confer on how to approach the bowling shot.  He would say "coach, what do you think about moving left"  or "coach what do I do now" after getting a spare instead of that wanted strike.  Wayne was a very happy-go-lucky and enjoyable person to be around and liked by everyone in or league. He truely has made me a better person and I will miss him very, very much.

  Wayne was my firend as we went to school together at Coe, McClure and graduated from Queen Anne HS in 1969. Wayne and I were in many classes together throughout these years, was a good friend and always interested in all sports in those early, growing up days on the " Hill ". I saw him at the last QA Reunion and he was excited in life, love and that ongoing, continuous Kuay Spirit. I will miss not seeing him at this year's QA reunion. I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing and am so sorry I cannot be at his service this afternoon, but will always rememeber Wayne. The QA Reunion will not be the same without Wayne there.

I am so sorry for your loss. It's been a long time since I've seen Wayne but I remember growing up with him and he was a great cousin.

I had known Wayne through the Pacific Tiger Club, a car club where he would bring his Sunbeam Alpine.  Wayne enjoyed being on the road.  We will miss him.

To the Wayne Pomerville Family, my deepest condolences go to you.  Wayne was an outstanding person who cared deeply for his family, friends, and passions.  A very dedicated person who worked very hard in every aspect.  He always had a great smile and energy that we could only wish for.  He will be missed by all who knew him!

I always admired Wayne for the passion and enthusiasum he had for everything that was important to him, his family, his leisure time and his job. He will be missed by all of us who  were ever close to him.         

Very sorry to here of your great loss, Wayne will be missed by everyone. We worked together on the BN & BNSF since 1970. God Bless you all in your time of grieving and give you stength to carry on.

Our family and i are so very shocked and sad to lose such a great friend as Wayne.Knowing Wayne and his family for many years i must say there is no deeper sad feeling that we have lost our WAYNE O.In all the countless hours we spent fishing or bowling etc. Wayne was always a joy to be around.To Joanne and the family you were truly blessed with such a great person our hearts and prayers go out to you at such a dark time.Wayne would always try to pull something good out of something bad so to that i say Wayne we will see you soon and tell your son we said hi.

I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. You two were a wonderful couple and I enjoyed bowling with you two that first year in the area.  May his memory and the memories always be in your heart.

Lisa and I were both shocked and saddened upon hearing of Wayne's passing.  Our hearts go out to the Pomerville family in this most difficult time.  

Wayne was a superb  grandpa.    We used to watch as Wayne would walk his granddaughter to check the mail or take her for rides on the bike.  Sometimes it was difficult to tell who was having the most fun.  

Wayne was also a great neighbor, always willing to help his mechanically challenged neighbors (like me) who would have been lost without Wayne's technical assistance.  Wayne's probably helping Saint Peter this very moment repair the pearly gates.  

We are praying for you all.

Wayne Pomerville and I were friends and manager's for the Burlington Northern Railroad for over 25+ yrs. We use to share many story's about our children. I remember him talking about his children especially his little girl Stephanie.
I respect Wayne as a man and as a friend and he will trully be missed by family and friends.

We shared many conversation about our own families, especially our children. I remember him talking alot about Stephanie, whom I see often.
My condolences go out to Wayne's Family and share the lost of a good friend. 

This loss has filled us with tremendous sorrow.  The abundant joy in Wayne is a very special memory for us.  In the 3 years that we have known Wayne, JoAnna, Stephanie and precious Aubrey, we have witnessed a family filled with great love, devotion and happiness.  Wayne's greatest gift to us has been his kind and generous spirit.  JoAnna, our prayer is that where our words cannot convey properly the depth of our concern, our presence in heart and mind somehow can. The space between us is only as wide as the street we live on. Wayne was a wonderful friend, husband, father, grandfather to all in his life.  I have to say I am truly blessed for the few years I had to get to laugh and play with him.  He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. As a matter of fact he had to always be doing something!!  I miss him and my heart goes out to JoAnna and her family as well as Waynes family and all that knew him.  He will always be a joyous memory to me.  Take good care of him God.
