I am sitting in my hotel room in Tokyo, Japan (July 8th) for work and I just received a text from my brother telling me that Wayne had passed. I am heart broken. When I think about my life, and especially my more formative years, there are a few people who had a significant impact. Whatever successes I have had as a husband, father, friend or professional I owe the two of you an enormous amount of gratitude. You were the light I followed and when I lost my way (which i did from time to time), both of you were always there with unconditional support and patience. That is a very special gift for someone who is trying to find their path. I remember the long conversations about college, education and religion and you helped encourage me to want more, to try harder,  and to be a better person.  You two were the rock I built my life on and from the very bottom of my soul I thank you. In more ways than you will ever know you saved me and you showed me the path that is my life today....... a great marriage, fantastic children, and close friends.. When my father passed in 1977 I said in the eulogy that my father will never die because he lives in me. Christy, you and Wayne live in me and in many others who were fortunate to cross paths with you in life. You both changed so many lives and god bless you for helping to change mine.  I will never forget what you did for me.  Matthew Perry
