Papa, 

Your legacy will live through the lives you touched, and my memories of you will live on through generations to come!  I am so blessed to have had you in my life along with your great granddaughter Maia Elizabeth, and your great grandson Daniel Wesley. Every time I see my boy smile I will fist and foremost remember your smile! I love you so much, and I miss you terribly!

My Dad was one amazing person.  He led by example teaching us that family is first & foremost.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand, always there to support you when you needed it most and always there to have fun!  I am so grateful to be his daughter and so very thankful that he & my Mom have played such a tremendous role in my own familyâ€™s lives.  I hope that I can make my Dad as proud of me as I am of him.  He touched many lives and made a difference in this world.  I am honored that we shared a birthday & every year when that day rolls around I will smile & remember all of those precious years that we had together and all those life lessons he so patiently and lovingly taught me. A wonderful man who dedicated his life to his family and friends. One of my fondest memories was the 4th of July Westport spaghetti. Always prepared with love and served up by WesPapawith a smile and 3 sausages I think - or was it 2? Where is that giant spoon?  Thanks for the memories.

Favorite memories of Wes, to many to list.  What a Great Father, Papa, and Friend.  An example for us all. We too especially remember the Spaghetti Meister!  For me it was two sausages with one extra on the side if I was good!  And lets not forget the dill pickles.  Also will always remember the "Travelers Toilet Seat" complete with seat belt.

Our prayers are for the family and Aunt Lucille.  May you be surrounded in love and light.  May each passing day be a little easier.  Walk in the Seasons, remember the touch, the smell, the laughter, the quietness of the soul and lift up your Spirit to the Lord.

Thank you for decorating my life with wonderful memories. I will forever cherish the stories you told me from my early childhood in addition to all the experiences we shared forward. Your comfort through the bumps and bruises of life, your lessons of endless love and support will always make me smile. I never had the privilege of meeting you.  But in many ways, I have seen the impression you have left in the world through the minds and hearts of your wife, Lucille, and your daughters.  You obviously brought a lot of love, stability and compassion to your family.  The warm glow of love in their hearts is very evident.  Your wisdom and decency are very apparent in the ways they speak and act.  You have given much to your family--and the positive effects are very visible to all.  God bless you!

    I feel so fortunate that recently, I spent three wonderful months with Dad & Mom. The time together was truly a gift.

I have so many fond memories and feel greatful that I was able to tell you how very much you mean to me.

Wes was a good man who took a couple like us under his wing and saved us from making a grave finacial mistake.  He did all of this when our only credentials were that we were friends of his daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Joe.  His smile was infections when we introduced ourselves as their friends and we will be grateful for his advice forever.  We think that he and our son Brian are together right now and are looking down at us from heaven and wondering why we are so sad.

Having grown up across the street from the Waltons, I remember Bud as a true family man.  I remember the many camping trips they went on and envied them for it.  As I visited my mom on brief returns to Seattle, I would visit the Waltons and Bud would be busy in the yard but always stopped to visit with me.  His big smile was always warm and welcoming.  He and Lucy were such a wonderful couple who loved each other completely. I feel blessed to have known Bud and pray that  more families are blessed with a father, a husband, a grandpa,an uncle like him.

Strong and consistent.
Reliable and lovable.
Supportive and non-judgemental.
Uncle Bud embodied unconditional love.

Wes Walton was a great guy.I will never forget all the things that he and his family brought to my life. He will be missed,he was truly my Pal.

I truly enjoyed his company during our all too brief and all too infrequent visits.  I felt the genuine warmth, goodwill, and hospitality that he always extended toward everyone around him.  You are loved and missed, Uncle Bud.
