
Born on January 29, 1941 in Seattle, WA and passed away on February 19, 2003 after a brave fight with cancer. He attended Lincoln High School and graduated from Portland State University in 1964. For the past 30 years, he has lived with his family in Edmonds, WA. Bill had a 25 year career in banking, starting with The National Bank of Commerce and ending with Citizens Federal Savings and Loan. After his banking career, he enjoyed a 15 year career in residential real estate. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and horseback riding. Bill also enjoyed his many summers at Mason Lake with his family. During the last 15 years, he discovered a talent for woodcarving. He especially liked to carve cowboy caricatures and Santa Clauses. Bill was a loving husband and father and took special joy and pride in the arrival of his grandchildren and his role as a grandfather. He will be remembered for his great love of life and his generous, loving spirit. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Judy; daughters Lori Yanzick, Karen Davis and Michelle Lyle; sons-in-law Cliff Yanzick and Peder Davis; grandchildren Sarah and Joshua Davis and Colton Yanzick; father William P. Lyle; stepmothers Jeanne Lyle and Leanna M. Lyle; sisters Linda Davis and Cindy Flaherty; brother John Caselli and many friends and relatives. Memorial will be held Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen-Washelli Chapel, 11111 Aurora Ave N., Seattle, WA 98133.
