Bill was born in Seattle, WA February 20, 1921. Passed away peacefully on October 6, 2005. Survived by wife of 53 years Marcia; daughter Glenda; sons Marc and Allan Porter; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. World War II Veteran. Member of Nile Shriners; Zeta Psi Fraternity at UW; Seattle Sail and Power Squadron; Over the Hill Gang Volkssport Club; Past Master of Rose Croix Scottish Rite of Freemasonry; Past Master of Arcana Lodge #87. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Rite Care/Center for Childhood Language Disorders, 1155 Broadway East, Seattle, WA 98102; UW Foundation, The Neuro Scholarship Fund, c/o UW Speech and Hearing clinic, 4131 15th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105.
