William “Bill” E. Pearson, 91, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on June 29, 2015. He was born in Oakland, CA on March 1, 1924. Bill attended Hood River High School in Oregon until he joined the Navy in 1941 at 17 years old. He survived Pearl Harbor on the USS Maryland and served the duration of WWII as a Signalman until 1945. He was married to M. Joan Pearson on April 12, 1947. Bill had a career in logging in Oregon and settled into security with Boeing Seattle for 33 years. He had a passion for fishing and hunting. He is survived by: wife Joan Pearson; daughter Idella Stewart; sons Rocky Pearson & John Pearson; grandchildren Deann, Robert, Doug, William, Jessyka, & Michael; great grandchildren Josh, James, Nicole, Miranda, Jesse, & Samantha; great great grandchildren Wyatt, Isabela Evelyn, Olivia, Trystin, Carner, McKinzie, Presley, & Jonesy.
