Gloria Montoya Landeros

Our precious and beloved, Gloria Montoya Landeros, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 29, 2015, in McKinney, TX. She was 72 years old.

Gloria was born December 16, 1942 in Kingsbury, TX to Tony and Herminia Montoya. Gloria grew up in Seguin, TX where she met the love of her life, Gilberto Landeros.

On May 6, 1962 Gilbert and Gloria were married in Seguin and later moved to Killeen, TX. They were blessed with three sons and 38 years of marriage.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Gilberto Landeros, parents Tony and Herminia Montoya, and siblings Artemio, Juan Antonio and Elenita Montoya.

Gloria is survived by her beloved children Gilberto Jr., Ricardo and wife Michelle, Carlos and wife Heather. She loved and adored all of her grandchildren; Michael, Maria, Meredith, Marcus, Lilliana, Isabella and Landon. She was also blessed with three great-grandsons; Westin, Aiden and Kieran. Gloria is also survived by her loving sisters; Mary Montoya Castilla, Angie Montoya Hernandez and Ester Mendoza and husband Gilberto. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd, at Goetz Funeral Home, 713 N. Austin, Seguin, TX, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., February 4th, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 409 West Krezdorn Street, Seguin, TX. Burial services will follow after mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Seguin, TX.
