Helen Christine Adams

Helen Christine Adams, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at her home in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 82. Graveside services will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park 2951 State Hwy 46 New Braunfels, Texas officiated by Deacon Steve Marques.

Helen was born April 19, 1932 in Lakewood Ohio to Steve and Mary Stella (Fristik) Lacko. She married Jack W. Adams on June 3rd, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio. Together they raised their family through many moves brought about due to job opportunities. When her children were still at home, she enjoyed traveling and camping all over the United States. Helen was a former Elk’s Lodge member. She was caring and generous, often giving and going without. She was a devote Roman Catholic. Together she and her husband Jack lived in the San Antonio and Seguin area for more than forty years.

Helen leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Jack W. Adams, her daughter; Sandra Banton and her husband Russell, her Son; Gary Adams and his wife Cheryl, her grandchildren; Reid and his wife Demi, Jackie and her husband Shawn, John and his wife Lucia and Stephanie. She also leaves behind and will be missed by her six great-grandchildren and her siblings; Maryanne Poschke and Steven Lacko
