Julia Mae Doolittle

Julia M. (Pfeil) Doolittle of Lake McQueeney, born May 6, 1934, entered heaven's gates on June 3, 2015 at age 81. She is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Debra & Mark McCaslin, Temecula, CA, sons & daughter-in-laws, Dan & Kelly Doolittle, Fair Oaks Ranch, TX, David & Rebecca Doolittle, San Antonio, & Don Doolittle, Lake McQueeney; grandchildren Stacey McCaslin Sheridan, Susie McCaslin Gibbs, Jake & Kelsey Doolittle, Matt & Sydney Doolittle, step grandson, Noah Garanzuay, Kaylie & Kyle Doolittle; great grandchildren Brooke, Katelyn, & Kendall Sheridan, Luke Gibbs; sister & brother-in-law, Jeanette & Col. John Wright.

Julia enjoyed family time & was a devoted mother & grandmother. She was an artist & began her career in fashion art for major department stores in San Antonio. She continued to be active in the art community & numerous organizations throughout her life. She was a member of the New Braunfels Art League & was the recipient of their Lifetime Achievement Award.

Services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Goetz Funeral Home, 713 N. Austin St. in Seguin. Burial to follow in Cibolo, TX.
