Lonzo "Lonny" Ray Simmons

Lonny Simmons, a resident of Seguin passed away on Saturday Dec. 4th at the age of 61 years old. He was born in Lubbock, Texas to Ray and Mildred Simmons on January 17, 1949. Lonny proudly served in the US Marine Reserves before he started his employment with Alamo Group for 23 years. He was a wonderful husband, dad and grandfather who loved to fish. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Kris Simmons; 3 sons: Jon Simmons and wife Becky Ewing, Jeremy Simmons and wife Carrie and Bobby Haddock, grandson Nathan Simmons, step-granddaughter Samantha Haddock, brother Jon Simmons and wife Mickey, aunt Juana Watson and husband Jud and several nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held on Thursday Dec. 9, 2010, 10am until service time at 2pm at Goetz Memorial Chapel. Honorary pallbearers will include Jerry Williams, Cliff Anderson, Bobby Haddock, Jon Simmons and Jeremy Simmons.
