Robert Morin Hinojosa

Robert Hinojosa; 83 of Seguin, Texas peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Remarkable Health Care Center in Seguin. A Rosary service followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Robert’s life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 409 Krezdorn Street Seguin, Texas with Father Ignatius Pajak officiating.

Robert was born on March 9, 1931 in New Braunfels, Texas to Abraham and Elvira (Morin) Hinojosa. He was raised alongside his brothers Johnny, Chuy, Macario and Felix. He enjoyed golfing, collecting coins, performing magic tricks and spending time with his family. Robert was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 56 years, Ofelia on September 18, 2014, his daughter Hope Merz as well as his 4 brothers.

Robert is survived by his children; Daniel de la Garza and his wife Cecilia; Grace Camarillo and her husband Frank; Michael Hinojosa; and Vanessa Eubank and her husband Billy; his grandsons Jon and Robby de la Garza, his granddaughter Celina Ross and her husband Mickey; great-grandchildren Julian de la Garza; Jade and Gia Ross. He will also be missed by his sister in laws Modesta and Trinidad Cardenas.

Robert’s family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Remarkable Health Care Center in Seguin, CIMA Hospice of New Braunfels, Dr. Antonio Flores and his devoted staff for their love and support.
