Walter Albert Tilleman

Walter A. Tilleman, June 1, 1931-December 15, 2015, age 84, entered into eternal peace while surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of his home in Seguin, Texas. He was born and raised in Holland. He came to the United States with his high school sweetheart, Dolly, who preceded him in death after 60 years of marriage. He ran a successful business in San Antonio before retiring to their dream home in Lake Placid where they enjoyed many happy years. He is survived by his children, Walter Tilleman and wife Tammy, Hetty Hurst and husband Fred; grandchildren, Matthew Tilleman, Pamela Banks, Nico Hurst, Jaquelin Hurst, Anna Marijka Tilleman and Steven Tilleman; great-grandchildren, Kyle Banks, Lexi Banks and David Tilleman; and other numerous relatives and friends. A Mass will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
