

Born on July 16, 1937, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Donald was the son of Beatrice Wolfe and Donald C. Nagle. He was raised in Ohio and graduated from Massillon Washington High School, where he served as class president and proudly played baseball and football for the legendary Massillon Tigers. He went on to attend Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
On January 11, 1958, Donald married the love of his life, Janice Dottavio Nagle. Together they built a life rooted in family and enduring love.
Donald enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with the Norfolk and Western Railroad, from which he eventually retired and moved to south Florida. Throughout his life, he remained a passionate fan of America’s pastime—baseball—and held season tickets for the Tampa Bay Rays. He was also a devoted supporter of Ohio State football and a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns.
A proud father, Donald was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Nagle. He is survived by his sons, Daniel Nagle, Ronald Nagle, and Donald Nagle; as well as his grandsons, Justan Nagle and Brandon Nagle.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well lived.
Donald will be remembered for his steady presence, wit, humor, wisdom, enduring love for his wife & family, and his lifelong enthusiasm for sports. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
