Dorotha “Ginny” Mason, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026. Born in Richmond, Indiana on October 4, 1943, Ginny lived a life defined by warmth, resilience, and a deep devotion to the people she loved.
Ginny had a rare gift for making others feel seen and cared for. Her gentle humor, steady presence, and open heart created a sense of comfort wherever she went. She cherished her family above all else, and the love she poured into them will continue to echo for generations.
She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Barry and son-in-law James Barry. She leaves behind her grandchildren Andrew Trowbridge Sr. and Amber Trowbridge who will forever carry her strength and spirit with them.
Ginny and fondly called "Gigi", was also blessed with great grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Andrew Trowbridge Jr., Tyler Trowbridge, Kailyn Welker, Zoey Welker, & Izabella Barry.
Her legacy lives on in the kindness she showed, the stories she shared, and the love she gave so freely. Ginny will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
