

Edgar A. “Skip” McQuade III, 67, of Seminole, Florida, passed away on April 18th at his home under the care of Hospice surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 14th, 1948 in Camden, New Jersey, the son of Edgar A. Jr. and Wilma Jean McQuade. Skip grew up in the South Florida area and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1966 – 1970. After over 35 years working in the hospitality industry, Skip started his own consulting company where he continued to support and work with various hotels and travel agencies across the country. He was proud of his Irish heritage and loved Dolphin football, music, fishing and above all his family.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Flora; daughters, Stefanie and Jessica, his two granddaughters, Kate and Joanna; His brother, Andrew McQuade, and his step-mother, Aline McQuade. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, “Pop Pop”, son, brother and friend to many.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, April 24th in the chapel of Garden Sanctuary where Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. A traditional Irish celebration of life will follow at Skip’s favorite local pub, Mickey Quinn’s Irish Pub at 13071 Park Blvd N. Seminole.
