of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Betty was born in Athlone, Ireland to Michael and Catherine (Murray) Dempsey, one of 15 children and migrated to America in 1955. She spent the majority of her life living and working in New York and Massachusetts.
She is survived by her two daughters, Yvonne McGlue (Kenny Weir) and Norma (Alan) Waisanen; her grandson, Brian McGlue (Angela Vasquez) and four great grandchildren, Aubrey, Liam, Ava and Logan. She is preceded in death by her son, Raymond Kent.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2015 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home and officiated by Deacon David Sirianna.
