Heidi Marie Whitmire, beloved Daughter of Val and Larry Whitmire, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 3, 2018 in Clearwater, Florida at the age of 35. Born on August 27, 1983, she lived her short but vibrant life in Clearwater. In addition to her heartbroken Mom and Dad, she leaves behind her devoted and loving brother, Jamy, her paternal grandparents and Doris and Lester Kibbe of PA. She will be lovingly missed by her aunts, uncles and cousins, and forever remembered by her closest friends. Her beauty and grace, tempered only by her charm and caring love of family and friends, is honored in this short poem to her memory:
In Bright White Light
When suddenly the flame that glowed,
So brightly in the night,
Flickered softly in the wind and breathed
One loving last bright light.
The world lost its way just briefly
And gently sighed and wept.
Then fluttered strong again
With the memory that it kept.
Of one so loved and caring
Filled with charity so pure.
A soul whose heart in bright white light
Will shine at Heaven’s door.
Visitation held Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2pm until 6pm at the funeral home with funeral services at 4pm.
