James Vincent Sheehan

Sheehan, James Vincent, 65 of Seminole, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Jim was born on June 7, 1948 in Van Nuys, California to the late James & Grace (Voshardt) Sheehan. He was a lifetime area resident, with a love of fishing, golfing and cheering on his favorite sports teams, (Rays win, Rays win.) He was the life of any party, a devout chocoholic, and the self proclaimed "trivia king." Jim was known and loved for his gift of storytelling, quick wit, and unwavering positivity.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joan Sheehan of Seminole, a daughter, Meghan (Ryan) Sheehan Srofe of Seminole, two sons, James (Keaton) Sheehan of Godeffroy, NY and Brian (Susan) Sheehan of Syracuse, NY, four grandchildren Molly, Mason, Jackson and Stella along with five sisters, Beth, Peggy, Patti, Terry and Kathy, and three brothers, Eddie, Tommy, and Billie.

Visitation held Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2 – 4:30 PM at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 at St Jerome Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd, Largo, FL 33774. Committal prayers and Military Honors provided by the U.S. Air Force following the mass at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery.
