Jim attended Our Lady of Confidence in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Northeast High School.
Jim participated in the Special Olympics. His participation included equestrian, sculling, soccer, and bowling.
Jim’s first job was cleaning stalls at a riding academy. One day someone left a stall open and 1 of the horses took a run for the gate. Jim stepped in front of the horse, waving his arms and the horse immediately stopped for him. Jim loved animals and they loved him. Jim went on to work for APS in Bensalem, PA. APS hired disabled adults. He loved his friends and staff. He enjoyed his job and was especially proud of his paycheck.
Jim loved to play mini golf and strum his guitar. Jim enjoyed music. We would often find Jim with his headphones on listening and singing loudly to John Denver. He also enjoyed riding his bike, swimming, boat rides and feeding the deer. After moving to Florida Jim enjoyed to walk on the beach with his sisters.
Jim also loved going to church then going to the American Legion Post 273 tikki bar for soda, hotdog and fries. He made many friends wherever he went.
Jim was a gentle loving soul who always had a smile. We will dearly miss him.
