95, of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away Jan. 21, 2014 at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. She was born Sept. 23, 1918 in Paducah, KY, the daughter of James David and Ollie Jane “Howard” Lindsey. Joetta moved to Pinellas Park in 1993 from Paducah, where she was a clerk for Spiegel Mail Order. Joetta was a member of Pinellas Park Church of Christ and a former member of Broadway Church of Christ in Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie F., a brother, John Howard Lindsey, and a step-son, Paul E. Lane. Survivors include a daughter-in-Law, Mildred Lindsey; granddaughters, Sheri Langston and Tammie Gordon; nieces, Janice Piggott, Elizabeth Hausman, Anna Lindsey, and Sarah Camper; nephews, John Lindsey, Jr., David Lindsey, and Stephen Lindsey, and numerous grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 at Pinellas Park Church of Christ, 6045 Park Blvd. Pinellas Park, FL where funeral services will follow at 7:00pm. Visitation in Paducah, KY will begin at Noon on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home, 120 Memorial Dr. Paducah, KY., where services will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
