Leslie (Les) Saunders, 81, of Largo, FL, passed away on January 28, 2025. Born in Bronx, NY, Les was a lifelong entrepreneur, having operated various businesses throughout his career. One of his early ventures included establishing one of the first t-shirt transfer businesses. He also owned a successful music business and had the distinct honor of performing at the inauguration of the president of Costa Rica in the 1990s.
Les was known for his incredible singing talent, sharp business acumen, and most of all, his loving nature as a husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sarah Shimerofsky; his brothers, Cary and Mark Saunders; and his beloved son, William “Bill” Saunders.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Vicki Saunders; daughters Marci Mongeon and Stefanie Alperovich; sons-in-law John Mongeon and David Alperovich; and his three cherished grandchildren, Sam, Adam, and Sarah.
