94, of St. Pete Beach, Florida, passed away Sept. 20, 2014 at Bon Secours Maria Manor in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born in Highland Park, Michigan, the daughter of Fred and Nina Waldo. Lois and her late husband, John P. Mortimer moved to St. Pete Beach, Florida in 1961.
She is survived by four sons, John (Rick) Mortimer and his wife, Kathy, Terry Mortimer and his wife, Betty, Allen Mortimer and his wife, Dolores; and Roger Mortimer; a sister, Joanne Bailey; grandchildren, Kevin and Patrick Mortimer, Kimberly Hardgrove, Shari Thanner, Richard Mortimer, and Ryan, Timothy, and Kenneth Mortimer; and great grandchildren, Charlie and Lucy Hardgrove, Jack and Julia Mortimer, Brenna, Annie, and Christopher Thanner, and Gavin and Keaton Mortimer.
