MONGAYA, Matthew K. 40, of Clearwater, FL., passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at his home. He was born in Gulfport MS, and has been a Florida resident since 1984 coming from Biloxi, MS. He received his degree in Culinary Arts and was a chef by trade. He enjoyed singing in the family band at various clubs in the area, and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by a son, Ethan Mongaya, his parents, Romeo and Doris Mongaya, brothers, Romeo Mark Mongaya and Richard Mongaya, a nephew, Romeo and niece, Leilani.
Visitation hours will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home.
Services will be held 3pm on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Faith Community Presbyterian Church, 11501 Walker Ave., Seminole, FL 33772. Interment will be private in Garden Sanctuary Cemetery.
