

Peter Joseph Lindmark, 62, resident of Redington Shores, FL, whose hometown was Woburn, MA, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 18, 2013. He was a best friend, husband, father, brother and grandfather. He will be missed. Peter was born to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Lindmark, Sept. 9, 1951, in Winchester, MA. Peter graduated from Woburn High School in 1969 and received a BA in English and Speech from Emerson College in 1973. He married his high school sweetheart and best friend Debra Brown in 1973; they met at the age of fourteen. Peter and Debra called Hamilton-Wenham, MA home before relocating to St. Petersburg, FL in 2000. Peter was an insurance broker for 38 years until 2013, when he began selling real estate. He was passionate about fitness and family. Pete ran the New York City Marathon, coached little league, played softball, was an active swim team parent, wine enthusiast, and loving grandfather. Peter loved the beach, spending time with his family, traveling, driving his 1987 Buick Grand National, playing golf and reminiscing about Woodstock. His laugh was contagious.
Peter is survived by his wife, Debra and their three children: Heather Conley, Jacob Lindmark, and Shawn Lindmark. He is also survived by his brother, Paul Lindmark, sister, Pamela Lindmark, grandson, Daniel, and Granddaughter, Norah.
Visitation 5:30pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home.
