STEELE, Richard, 85, of St. Petersburg, FL., passed away Tuesday, Mar 22, 2011. He moved to Florida in 1972 from his native Brooklyn, NY where he retired as a carrier for the US Postal Service. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and served in the Marine Corps after the war. Richard was a lifetime member of V.F.W. and a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Old Roman Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sylvia.
Survivors include sons, Howard, Edward, Alan, and Charles; 8 grandchildren, Amy, Katie, Jennifer, Emily, Alan, Jr., Andrew, David, and Charles, and 4 great grandchildren, Blake, Kagen, Kylie, and Bailey.
Visitation held from 2:30 pm until time of the funeral service at the mausoleum chapel in Garden Sanctuary Cemetery, with military honors following the service.
