78, of Largo, Florida and formerly of New York City, passed away Jan. 2, 2016 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. He was born November 7, 1937 in New York City, the son of Walter and Alice (Holtzman) Singerman. He is survived by his wife, Linda Bentley Singerman; a son Jamie (Angie) Singerman; a daughter, Jodi Singerman; and grandsons, Moshe and Malachi Singerman.
Dr. Singerman was a practicing dentist for over 40 years. He retired from the US Army in 1991 after 26 years of service. He then worked as Chief of Dentistry at multiple Veteran Administration Hospitals, retiring in 1998. After retirement he worked as a contract dentist for the Department of Defense.
He was an avid skier. Dr. Singerman enjoyed carving. He was a member of carving clubs for over 30 years, often giving lessons. He was a member of the Boca Ceiga Yacht Club and loved sailing. He was also a member of the FL Suncoast Wally Byam Caravan Club taking RV trips frequently. He lived an extremely full life.
Full Military Honors will be rendered at 3:00pm Friday, Jan 25th at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 9500 Bay Pines Blvd. Bay Pines, FL.
