

1946 – 2011
Born in Tacoma, WA to Hilda and Martin Bradshaw, owner of the B&E Variety store. Grew up in Spokane, WA, attended Shadle Park High School. Her early adult life was mostly spent in Vancouver BC where she worked at a high end men’s clothing store, the only American. Living there peaked her interest in the arts and jewelry manufacturing. Later this lead to a successful art agent role for two Canadian, American artists which further developed into an expertise in metal etching and sculpture designs. Moving on to Seattle, Queen Anne area, she modeled hair and clothing and her interest and capabilities in the fashion world lead to her being selected for a rare management responsibility in her own Seattle Trade Center show room. Marrying a retired naval officer in 1986 she travelled, built an island home on Kauai, HI and worked on Andros Is., Bahamas’. During the time frame she played a minor part in the Hollywood movie ‘Flight of the Intruder’. Calling Washington home her family lived in Edmonds prior to moving to Sequim in 2000. She was very happy in retirement in Sequim but continually struggled with medical setbacks. Caught by a series of strokes she finally succumbed in a loss of quality of life circumstances that took her life at a young age. She is survived by her son Aron and his wife Kate of Seattle and loving husband, Richard. A celebration of Sanda’s life will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00AM, Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel 108 W. Alder St. Pastor Dave Westman will honor her life’s service. Suggest donations be considered for use by needy animal adoption organizations.
