

Art was born February 16, 1948, in Jersey City, New Jersey and was the son of the late Arthur S. Kinnaugh and Alice Fitzgibbons Kinnaugh. Art grew up in Englewood, New Jersey and resided in Middletown, New Jersey for 26 years prior to moving to Calabash, North Carolina for retirement. He was a 1970 graduate of William Paterson University of Wayne, New Jersey and in 1969, prior to his graduation, was drafted by the San Francisco Giants baseball team. Art was inducted into William Paterson University’s Hall of Fame for baseball in 1982. He spent his career as a schoolteacher and coach at Fair Lawn High School and a pharmaceutical representative with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals until his retirement. He was an avid gardener, loved his dogs, and a devoted family man. Art was a true “Girl” Dad and Grandpa.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Kinnaugh; three daughters, Leigh Ann Morse and husband Eric of Middletown, New Jersey, Andrea Kinnaugh and husband Hugh Greene of Durham, North Carolina, and Kristen Fitzgerald and husband Mark of Middletown, New Jersey; three granddaughters, Hailey, Ella, and Quinn; three sisters, Carol Guilfoyle of Closter, New Jersey, Patricia “Pat” Byrne and husband Matthew of River Edge, New Jersey, and Christine Pugh of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
