She was born in Hines, West Virginia on July 22, 1935 the oldest daughter of the late Wilbur Carroll and Beulah Kincaid Carroll.
Surviving are two children, Gregory Judy of Annapolis, Maryland and Vicki Boren and husband Mike of Brookport, Illinois; a sister, Brenda Jahn of Berlin, Maryland; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rector, and her brother,Vernon P. Carroll.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday May 12, 2017 at 3:00 in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Shallotte Chapel by Reverend Jason Benton officiating.
