Barbara Jean Shields age 55 of Ash, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday October 28, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center Wilmington, NC.
She was born in Ligonier, PA on January 6, 1960 the daughter of the late, and Ross Earl Manon, Sr. and Lillian Mae Manon.
Barbara never met a stranger, she will be greatly missed and her smile will live on forever. She was the most beautiful person inside and out.
Surviving are her companion Steven Albert Babson, two daughters, Angela Marie Shields and Shannon Lynn Shields; two son-in-law’s, Gary Nobles and Phillip Allen Herring; two brothers, Ross Earl Manon, Jr. and Charles Earl Manon; three sisters, Peggy Ann Weller, Lori Mae Crandall, Karen Lee Genier; a best friends, Linda Inman Jay Cheers and Thomas Hayes; three grandchildren, Lillian Jean Pegram, Lauren Marie Pegram, and Emma Kay Nobles; a host of many other family and friends.
A celebration life will be held at her residence at a later date.
