He was born in Halifax County on Nov. 30, 1935, the son of the late Roy Cecil Neese and Carrie Elizabeth Davis Neese.
Surviving are his wife Carolyn Chapman Neese of the home; a son, Davis L. Neese of Swanzee, S.C.; a sister, Peggy Reese of Louisville, Ky.; and two grandchildren.
