Brad Stegall

Brad was born December 23, 1974 in Charlotte, North Carolina, son of Barney Franklin Stegall and Kay Athey Stegall. He was a kindhearted gentleman who would give you the shirt off his back. Brad was very innovative and enjoyed tearing things apart just to put them back together. He loved watching the Tar Heels play, especially their basketball team. He will always be remembered as a wonderful son and his Dad’s best friend. Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Bill and Catherine Athey and Estelle “Jack” Stegall.

Survivors include his parents Barney and Kay Stegall of Sunset Beach, North Carolina; sister, Mandy Harless and husband Jeff of Locust, North Carolina; two nieces, Kendal Harless and fiancé’ Christopher Lopez of Denver, North Carolina and Kiley Harless of Wilmington, North Carolina; aunts, Cynthia Locklear and husband Wilbur of Fairmont, North Carolina and Betty Jean Lathan of Matthews, North Carolina; uncles, Billy Athey of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Tom Athey of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina; his faithful canine companions, Ram and Roxie; and numerous cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 14, 2021 from eleven o’clock in the morning until twelve o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina.
