

Clint was born in Mather Hospital, Port Jefferson, NY to Myrtle and Clinton D Finger Sr. He grew up in Medford and, later, Patchogue, NY. As a child, he loved swimming, rowing, boating and music. He was a talented clarinet player and appeared on American BandStand as a teen. He attended Admiral Farragut Academy in Pine Beach, NJ.He attended Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. He first met his wife, Lorraine Marcella Nowicki, in Patchogue, when he was 11 years old. They eventually dated in high school and married on August 19, 1961. They raised a family in Patchogue, NY. Clint joined the Coast Guard Reserves, during the Vietnam War and worked at Island Coal Lumber, a family business. Clint was a successful business owner, owning and running Centereach Lumber Company for over 20 years. Clint and Lorraine also lived in Bayport, NY, before retiring to Carolina Shores, NC. In NC, he enjoyed golf, fishing and spending time with his family. He became a real estate broker in NC. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and a good friend to many. He is predeceased by his parents and 3 siblings (a brother and two sisters).
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, a son ( Paul and Jeanne Finger) , two daughters (Tracey Bradford and Nancy Bryant), a niece (Jacqueline “Cricket” Finger) and four grandchildren (Alexa and Ian Niggles, Ashley and Ryan Finger).
